18 months of joy

18 months ago our daily routine changed very abruptly. At one moment we were having our normal daily chores and daily Nero walks and in the next, we had a new family member.
Srećko came into our lives and made a complete mess of it.
Poor little doggy beaten, abused, and abandoned in our front yard became one of our biggest worries.
Not only was he abandoned, but also his previous owners didn’t teach him anything so we had a major task in front of us.
When he came he was very skinny and afraid.

But with time we managed to fix that.

We learned how to sleep under the bed…

 Sunbath on the flowerbed

Enjoy the warmth of the bed

We also learned how to collect every single burdock

How to disassemble a quilt

How to walk on the leash and discovered every stump bowl in the forest

We turned a new reading chair into dog bed

and we’re very happy about it

We learned we shouldn’t bite our owners…except for when we’re playing

But our biggest lesson was that there is nothing better than a morning cuddle

We still have plenty of things to learn. Like how we shouldn’t bark and chase the cars when we’re taking a walk and that snakes and bugs are not food. But we’ll get to that, as soon as we learn that windows are not a sitting bench.

I think we did pretty good in our 18 months of joy.
