Last week I got my delivery from our local family farm and I got my herb and flower seedlings. I should still get the delivery of the vegetable seedlings but that will be in a couple of days.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-cdX4UV4Lp4Y\/XphNLirwReI\/AAAAAAAAIm8\/qloaW9431JoMKdHTsjXCxq0bpXDDPok3ACLcBGAsYHQ\/s1600\/IMG_20200415_130637.jpg?ssl=1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"1600\" data-original-width=\"900\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-cdX4UV4Lp4Y\/XphNLirwReI\/AAAAAAAAIm8\/qloaW9431JoMKdHTsjXCxq0bpXDDPok3ACLcBGAsYHQ\/s640\/IMG_20200415_130637.jpg?resize=360%2C640&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"360\" \/><\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">I got just enough flowers to make my balcony even more crowded and leave us no room for sitting outside. I was thinking about growing flowers all over the balcony railing, but I&#8217;ll need to ask my hubby or my dad to make me flower hangers first. If they manage to make them over the summer, next year I will have dozens of pots with flowers. Seedlings are completely healthy with excellent roots and in a couple of days they have been here they grew almost twice the size they were before.&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-MxHcnUqN2lk\/XphNO9QXqLI\/AAAAAAAAInQ\/faPS2n-WTpECVtk7kX-CBR9bJ5K3Qj50gCLcBGAsYHQ\/s1600\/IMG_20200416_123259.jpg?ssl=1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"900\" data-original-width=\"1600\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-MxHcnUqN2lk\/XphNO9QXqLI\/AAAAAAAAInQ\/faPS2n-WTpECVtk7kX-CBR9bJ5K3Qj50gCLcBGAsYHQ\/s640\/IMG_20200416_123259.jpg?resize=640%2C360&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" \/><\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">Although it&#8217;s not common for Dianthuses to hang, the variety I bought is &#8220;Gorenjski nagelj&#8221; a Slovenian variety which is grown only as a hanging flower so in a couple of weeks I should have a hanging carpet of wonderful flowers.&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-YuknWQt7aCk\/XphNO6KiwII\/AAAAAAAAInM\/ZKilTuf6e7sK-P_nBPo8nBTAeI2qh-71QCLcBGAsYHQ\/s1600\/IMG_20200416_123252.jpg?ssl=1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"900\" data-original-width=\"1600\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-YuknWQt7aCk\/XphNO6KiwII\/AAAAAAAAInM\/ZKilTuf6e7sK-P_nBPo8nBTAeI2qh-71QCLcBGAsYHQ\/s640\/IMG_20200416_123252.jpg?resize=640%2C360&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" \/><\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">I also got some herbs and decided to make a small herb garden on my balcony. I used an old flower stand and planted some mint, lemongrass, parsley, and basil. I also have some dwarf tomatoes, planted in the beer cans to use little space and I&#8217;m still thinking of sowing some chives and oregano.
