Although the days are sunny, temperatures are low, and in combination with the wind, it&#8217;s freezing cold. We had only one windless day since the beginning of March, and the rest of the days have been filled with violent north winds. The temperatures have now been too low for any of the seedlings to stay outside during the night, so my crates are back in the game. All of the seedlings have been moved to the house every evening and moved back out in the morning. Also, I&#8217;m keeping the plastic cover on at all times to raise the low temperatures.<\/p>\n<p>Seedlings in the house shelves have been growing nicely, and this week was the time to transplant the peppers. I&#8217;ve started with transplanting the bell peppers, and that&#8217;s pretty much all I managed to do. Windy days killed my desire to transplant and I ended up leaving most of the peppers in joined containers. I&#8217;m planning on sunbathing the seedlings starting next week if we finally get some normal temperatures. My balcony is a lot warmer than the rest of the yard, and as soon as the temperatures reach 10\u00b0C, I can sunbathe my seedlings every day. I will actually have to cover them with agrotextile to prevent sunburns.
